Keeping Your Garden Alive And Well

After I started focusing on planting a garden, I realized that there were some real problems with the plants that I had chosen. In addition to not doing very well in the plot of land that I had available for farming, I also realized that the area wasn't very attractive, which is why I started focusing on making some improvements. It was really incredible to see the difference that a few changes made. This website is all about keeping your garden alive and well, and knowing which plants can help or hurt your outdoors space. Check out this blog for great information that can help.

Easy Ways To Decorate And Arrange Your Candles

Soham Diaz

Candles are a beautiful way to break up monotony in your home. How you arrange your candles and how you decorate them will affect how much they can beautify your home.

Use Candles of Different Heights

One secret is to use candles of different heights. This will make your candle arrangement seem more interesting. Your eyes will wander from one candle to another. Try to avoid decorating with one candle because there are few situations where a single candle will look great.

Place the Candles in the Center

One approach is to place the candles in the middle of the table as a centerpiece. Place the candles on a tray and choose candles of varying heights. Place decorative stones and glass marbles in the tray. You may also place a wreath around the candles. Have a place to set the candles when you must move them when making room for dinner.

Arrange the Candles Longways

Another way to decorate your table is to have a long line of decorative candles. Use about 10 candle holders and place them in a straight line. While placing candles in the center works great for a round table, this approach works best for a rectangular table.

Add Decorations

Candles can look good by themselves, but the scene can also look boring without adding something more. For example, during the holidays, you might place a few ornaments at the feet of the candles to give them a more festive look. This could be mixed with fake evergreen leaves and Christmas-themed miniatures.

The candle holders themselves can be decorated. For instance, print out a few black-and-white photos of friends and family members. The photos can easily be secured to the glass using photo corners.

Use Stamps and Stickers

A very simple way to decorate your candles is to stamp them. Clean the candle with rubbing alcohol first. Then, use a stamp to apply a design to the edge of your candle using acrylic paint. For example, if there is an important number you would like to highlight, such as if you are celebrating a birthday, stamp a number on the candle. You could also apply a number sticker to the candle holder.

Use Cookie Cutters

Cookie cutters can be used to decorate your candles. Simply press one of your cookie cutters into the side of the candle and the shape will then be visible on the candle. This is best done when the candle holder does not conceal the shape.
